Can I miss any classes?
No, you can’t miss any tutoring sessions. Although, if for some reason you can’t make it, you should contact Veltisto Education and reschedule your lesson. Please be careful and let us know beforehand so we can find an available time slot for your rescheduled tutoring session.
Can I be a little bit late?
How much late? As a general rule, no, but as mentioned above, you can always contact Veltisto Education and ask for a concession. Remember that you are one of many students on the tutor’s daily schedule.
How is the Curriculum designed?
By assessing your skills level and individual needs, your tutor will carefully plan a tailored curriculum to address your unique needs. Thus, your tutor will consider your current knowledge, learning objectives, and any areas that require focus or improvement. The lesson is tailor-made for your academic goals.
What should I expect from my session?
You and your tutor will discuss your academic goals during your introductory session. Then your tutor will prepare all the necessary material, including articles, videos, presentations, discussion topics, etc. Thus, your strengths and weaknesses dictate your learning journey.
How many lessons can I have per week?
The number of lessons depends on your academic goals. During your introductory meeting, you can always discuss the number of tutoring sessions with your tutor and the director of studies of Veltisto Education.
Is there a monthly feedback report?
Yes, every month tour tutor will send you a feedback report on your strengths and weaknesses and where you will need to focus your efforts to improve.
Can I contact my tutor directly?
You can contact your tutor through the Veltisto Education website. Be sure that all your messages will reach your tutor.
Am I charged per lesson or month?
You are charged per lesson and pay in advance at the beginning of the month. Keep in mind that the lesson fee depends on your academic level and what goals you wish to achieve.
What is the duration of each lesson?
You have three options:
- A 45-minute lesson without a break
- A 90-minute lesson with a 10-minute break
- A 12-minute lesson with a 15-minute break
Again, during your introductory meeting, you can discuss the number of tutoring sessions with your tutor and the director of studies of Veltisto Education.
Are there lessons during the holidays?
No lessons during holidays, but if necessary, you and your tutor can schedule extra classes to catch up.
I am a minor; can I still enroll?
Yes, as a minor, you can still enroll in our program. However, remember that progress reports and updates will go through your legal guardians. We believe in involving parents or legal guardians in your educational journey to ensure transparency and provide a comprehensive support system. Our tutoring services can benefit students of all ages, and we welcome you to join our program with your guardians’ approval. Together, we can help you achieve your academic goals.
Are the lessons strictly one-to-one, or can I be in a small group with friends?
Generally, our lessons at Veltisto Education are conducted on a 1-to-1 basis, ensuring personalized attention and tailored instruction. However, there may be circumstances where small group sessions are beneficial. Veltisto Education is open to such requests and can discuss other options available based on your specific needs.
